The FDA is advising consumers to not purchase or use Vitalikor Fast Acting, a sexual enhancement supplement sold on various websites and retail stores.
A laboratory analysis confirmed that Vitalikor Fast Acting contains two prescription ingredients, tadalafil and vardenafil. Tadalafil (marketed as Cialis; Eli Lilly) and vardenafil (marketed as Levitra; Bayer and GSK) are phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors indicated for erectile dysfunction.
These hidden ingredients may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs such as nitroglycerin and may dangerously lower a patient’s blood pressure.
Consumers are to stop using this product immediately and discard it.
