Franck’s Compounding Pharmacy has recalled one additional lot of triamcinolone acetonide PF 80mg/mL. On April 20, 2012, the FDA issued a second warning to physicians regarding certain compounded drugs from Franck’s. In addition, Franck’s had recalled one lot of triamcinolone acetonide PF following reports of eye infections in patients who were given injections during eye surgery.
These drugs were supplied by Franck’s Pharmacy in Ocala, FL. Healthcare personnel are advised to stop use of all sterile triamcinolone-containing products purchased from Franck’s until further notice.
