One lot of Basic Drugs brand of Senna Laxative 8.6mg tablets (Magno-Humphries) is being recalled due to a customer complaint of a ‘Senna Laxative’ labeled bottle containing Naproxen Sodium 220mg tablets.

Naproxen sodium is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Unintentional consumption of naproxen sodium could have fatal outcomes for patients with underlying illnesses or known allergies to the ingredients. In addition, there is a possibility for inadvertent overdose if patients take another NSAID concurrently.

Basic Drugs Senna Laxative is supplied in 100-count bottles; the recalled bottles have Lot #352300, expiration date 1/19 . Distributors have been notified by the company and a return of the recalled product is being arranged.
