Pain Supplement Recall Due to Hidden Ingredients

Pain Free By Nature announced a recall of Reumofan Plus Tablets because they were found to contain the following undeclared active ingredients: methocarbamol and diclofenac. Reumofan Plus is used as a treatment for muscle pain, arthritis, osteoporosis, bone cancer and other conditions.

Methocarbamol is a muscle relaxant that can cause sedation, dizziness, low blood pressure, and impair mental or physical abilities to drive a motor vehicle or operate machinery. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that may increase risk of cardiovascular events, as well as serious gastrointestinal adverse events including bleeding, ulceration, and fatal perforation of the stomach and intestines.
