The Mentholatum Company announced a recall of Rohto Arctic, Rohto Ice, Rohto Hydra, Rohto Relief, and Rohto Cool eye drops due to a manufacturing review at the production facility involving sterility controls.

These over-the-counter (OTC) eye drops are sold nationwide. The recall affects only product lots that were manufactured in Vietnam. These lots can be identified by the words “Made in Vietnam” on the side carton panel and on the back label of the bottle. Also, the affected lot numbers will include the letter “V” and is located on the bottom panel of the carton and on the bottom of the eye drop bottle.
Products manufactured in Japan are not affected by this recall and continue to be available to consumers.
The Company is notifying distributors and retailers to stop distribution and follow instructions in the recall letter.
