Jack Rabbit Supplement Contains Hidden Ingredients

Jack Rabbit announced a voluntary nationwide recall of one lot of its dietary supplement for sexual enhancement called Jack Rabbit. The product was found to contain sildenafil and tadalafil, the active ingredients found in Pfizer’s Viagra and Eli Lilly’s Cialis, respectively.

Sildenafil and tadalafil are phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors indicated for use in erectile dysfunction. These undeclared ingredients may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs (eg, nitroglycerin) and may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels. Additional side effects include headache and flushing.

The affected product contains Lot# 2510 and is packaged in 4-count blister packs.

Consumers are to stop using the affected product immediately and return any unused product to the retail location where they were purchased.
