The FDA has warned consumers that the sexual enhancement supplement Weekend Warrior contains an undisclosed ingredient and should not be purchased or used. FDA laboratory analysis confirmed the undisclosed presence of thiosildenafil in the supplement. Thiosildenafil is a substance structurally similar to the active ingredient in Viagra (sildenafil citrate; Pfizer), an FDA approved drug used to treat erectile dysfunction.

Nitrates found in some prescription drugs such as nitroglycerin may interact with this undisclosed ingredient and could lower blood pressure to dangerous levels. Nitrates are often prescribed to men to treat diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or heart disease.
