The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is warning consumers to not buy or use Yanhee Slim, a dietary supplement promoted for weight loss.
A laboratory analysis showed Yanhee Slim was found to contain lorcaserin, an active ingredient found in Belviq (Eisai). Lorcaserin is a CIV controlled substance indicated as an adjunct to a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity for chronic weight management in some overweight or obese adults. Lorcaserin use may result in adverse effects such as psychiatric disturbances and attention or memory impairment. When taken with other medications, it may interact in potentially life-threatening ways.
Yanhee Slim has been sold on various websites. It is supplied in 30-count bottles.
