NSAID, Antihistamine Discovered in Joint Pain Supplement
A laboratory analysis confirmed that Pyrola contained diclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), and chlorpheniramine, an over-the-counter (OTC) antihistamine. NSAIDs may increase the risk of cardiovascular events, such as heart attack and stroke, as well as serious gastrointestinal damage (eg, bleeding, ulceration, and fatal perforation of the stomach and intestines). Diclofenac may also interact with other drugs and significantly increase the risk of adverse events, especially in consumers taking multiple NSAID-containing products. Antihistamines may cause drowsiness and affect mental alertness.
Pyrola Advanced Joint Formula is sold on various websites, including Amazon.com, and also in some retail stores.
