Zirgan available for treatment of ocular herpes

Sirion Therapeutics has announced that Zirgan (ganciclovir ophthalmic gel) is now available for the treatment of acute herpetic keratitis (dendritic ulcers). Zirgan was first approved by the FDA in September 2009.
