Zingo now available for topical analgesia

Zingo (lidocaine HCl powder intradermal injection system, from Anesiva) is now available to reduce pain associated with peripheral IV line placements and blood draws in children 3-18 years of age. Zingo is a single-use, needle-free system that decreases pain at needle insertion sites within 1 to 3 minutes after administration.
