Wyeth announces Phospholine Iodide shortage

Wyeth has announced a shortage of Phospholine Iodide (echothiophate iodide ophthalmic solution 0.125%) due to a delay in supplies of this product’s raw materials. Wyeth is initiating a limited distribution plan for purchases and limiting sales to one bottle per patient for current patients only.

Phospholine Iodide is indicated for the treatment of glaucoma and accommodative esotropia.
