Pharmagen announced that Clotamin is now available in retail CVS locations. Clotamin is a complete multivitamin without vitamin K to meet the needs of patients taking anticoagulants such as warfarin.

Warfarin is a coumarin anticoagulant indicated to treat venous thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, thromboembolic complications from atrial fibrillation and/or cardiac valve replacement, and to reduce risk of death, recurrent MIs, and thromboembolic events (eg, stroke, systemic embolization) post-MI.

Clotamin contains modified levels of 12 essential vitamin. It can be taken with warfarin without affecting the patient’s INR levels.
