Updated Storage Information for Praluent

Previously, time out of refrigeration was not to exceed 24 hours at 77ºF.

The prescribing information for Praluent (alirocumab; Sanofi and Regeneron) has been updated to include new storage information. 

Generally, Praluent should be stored in the refrigerator and be warmed to room temperature for 30–40 minutes before use. However, If needed, it may now be kept at room temperature (up to 77ºF/25ºC) for a maximum of 30 days in its original carton to protect from light. Previously, time out of refrigeration was not to exceed 24 hours at 77ºF. Once removed from the refrigerator, Praluent must be used within 30 days or discarded.
