The TUMS product line has expanded with the introduction of TUMS Dual Action (calcium carbonate, magnesium hydroxide, and famotidine, from GlaxoSmithKline) which contains antacids and a histamine-2 receptor blocker. TUMS Dual Action is indicated for the relief of heartburn associated with acid indigestion and sour stomach, including breakthrough heartburn in patients taking other medications like proton pump inhibitors.

TUMS Dual action is available as a one-dose chewable tablet in berry and mint flavors.
