A generic version of GlaxoSmithKline’s Lamictal (lamotrigine tablets) has been made available by Teva in 25mg, 100mg, 150mg, and 200mg dosage strengths. Lamictal is indicated for adjunct treatment of partial seizures, primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures, and Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (LGS); conversion to monotherapy in adults with partial seizures who are taking certain other antiepileptic drugs; and for bipolar disorder maintenance.
