Spectrum announces Fusilev shortage

Spectrum has announced a shortage of Fusilev (levoleucovorin injection) with limited supplies continuing to be available. Fusilev is a folate analog used to reduce toxicity of high-dose methotrexate (MTX) therapy in osteosarcoma. It is also indicated to decrease the toxicity and counteract the effects of impaired MTX elimination or inadvertent overdose of folic acid antagonists.
