Profounda announced the launch of Rhinase Soothing Nasal Gel and Rhinase Lubricating Nasal Mist for use in patients with nasal dryness associated with allergies, low humidity, stuffy nose, and nosebleeds.

Unlike saline rinses and nasal steroids, Rhinase is formulated with two salts (sodium chloride and potassium chloride) and two wetting agents (propylene and polyethylene glycol) intended to work alone or with other allergy treatments to provide the extra moisture for a dry nose. Rhinase can complement treatment with nasal steroids because it has the same pH and is less likely to impact the efficacy of the steroid. Both Rhinase products contain multiple moisturizers and are safe for daily use.
