HoMedics announced the introduction of RapidRelief Electronic Pain Relief Pad, a wireless and portable Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) device, that blocks the nerve pathway from transmitting pain signals from sore and aching muscles

RapidRelief works by emitting controlled micro-electronic impulses to provide fast and effective relief for aches and pains.

RapidRelief Electronic Pain Relief Pad is available over-the-counter and is available in two models: one specifically calibrated for the lower back, and another for arms/legs relief with each offering 15 levels of adjustable intensity. Each package contains one device, one CR2032 lithium battery, one set of self-adhesive, replaceable gels (good for up to fifty 20-minute treatments), and a travel storage case.

TENS products have previously been sold behind the pharmacy counter or in medical supply stores, often requiring a doctor’s prescription.
