Oska Wellness announced the launch of Oska Pulse, a small wearable pain relief device to help reduce muscle stiffness, temporarily relieve minor pain, and increase mobility in patients with chronic pain.

The portable Oska Pulse device serves as a non-invasive, non-pharmacologic alternative for pain management. It utilizes the proprietary eTec Pulse Technology, which optimizes Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapeutic technology. PEMF therapy has been used by clinicians in the past, and its benefits have been cited in various clinical studies. PEMF has shown efficacy in healing soft-tissue wounds and in suppressing inflammatory responses at the cell membrane level to relieve pain and increase range of motion.

Oska Pulse relives minor aches, pains, and stiffness by encouraging the body’s natural healing processes. Electrical energy is used to direct a series of magnetic pulses through injured tissue to stimulate cellular repair. The product comes with a special compression wrap that can be worn at any time, under or over clothes, and near areas of pain. A pulsing blue light around the perimeter of the device indicates that it is “in session,” and users will feel no sensation. It does require wires or electrodes.

A prescription is not required to use this device and it has a suggested retail price of $399.
