LifeScan, Inc. announced that the FDA has approved OneTouch VerioSync blood glucose monitoring system. This meter automatically sends blood glucose results wirelessly via Bluetooth technology to an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch using the OneTouch Reveal mobile app.
Users will be able to view personalized information including a 14-day summary of blood sugar test results, percentage of test results within target range, along with the capability to share that information via email or text.
The OneTouch VerioSync meter is the newest addition since the OneTouch VerioIQ became available in January 2012.
