The Mentholatum Company announced the launch of Mentholatum No Mess Vaporizing Rub with Roll On Applicator for use in children aged ≥2 years for the cough and cold season.
The Mentholatum No Mess Vaporizing Rub contains 100% natural active ingredients and a rollerball delivery system for a smooth, mess-free application. It contains camphor 5.3%, eucalyptus oil 1.3%, and menthol 2.8%, which act as cough suppressants and topical analgesics. The new rollerball applicator was developed in response to user complaints over the greasiness and messiness of chest rubs.
Other products in the Mentholatum line include the Nighttime Vaporizing Rub and Original Ointment. The Nighttime Vaporizing Rub has a lavender scent to encourage sleep and soothe coughs; the Original Ointment soothes minor aches and pains of muscles and joints while easing the discomfort of colds.
