Vyvanse is a prodrug of dextroamphetamine. Amphetamines block the reuptake of norepinephrine and dopamine in the presynaptic neuron and increase the release of these monoamines in the extraneuronal space.
Vyvanse, a CII controlled substance, is already available in 20mg, 30mg, 40mg, 50mg, 60mg, and 70mg strength capsules in 100-count bottles.
