Nipro Diagnostics announced that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted clearance for its True Metrix Air Self-Monitoring blood glucose system.
True Metrix Air uses True Metrix test strips with the Triple Sense technology that detect, analyze, and correct for environmental and physiological variability, including hematocrit and temperature. The device can deliver data wirelessly to a smartphone device.
