InBody announced the launch of InBody PUSH, a new stadiometer that gives a quick and accurate height measurement of children and adolescents with the push of a button.

The handheld, portable stadiometer can accurately measure a child or teen’s height in one second through ultrasound technology. After leveling the InBody PUSH on the child’s head, the device emits an ultrasonic wave that reflects off a hard floor. With an error margin of <0.2 inches, the device can calculate the height by recording the time delay between sending and receiving the signal.

In conjunction with the downloadable PUSH: Growth Diary app, parents can track and compare their child’s height against the average for their age using the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)’s Growth Chart. The graph is applicable for children and teens aged 3–20 years and the device can measure height from 1 foot 7 inches to 6 feet 6 inches.
