New Assay to Diagnose, Differentiate IBD and IBS

INOVA Diagnostics announced the launch of QUANTA Lite Calprotectin, an assay to aid in the diagnosis of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and to differentiate IBD from irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) in conjunction with other laboratory and clinical findings.

QUANTA Lite Calprotectin is a quantitative enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) that detects calprotectin levels. Detecting levels of calprotectin in the stool can provide critical information to healthcare providers in determining the appropriate treatment.

QUANTA Lite ELISAs contain high quality reagents to enable semi-quantitative detection of autoantibodies in human serum for various disease states.
