Lotemax SM is supplied as a sterile preserved ophthalmic gel containing 3.8mg of loteprednol etabonate, a corticosteroid, per gram of gel. According to the Company, the formulation allows for 2 times greater penetration to the aqueous humor due to the submicron particle size. The SubMicron technology allows for less frequent application when compared with Lotemax Gel.
