Infant Formula Containing Milk Fat Globule Membrane Launched

Based on a clinical study, MFGM can help support cognitive development similar to breast milk.

Reckitt Benckiser announced the launch of a new infant formula, Enfamil NeuroPro, the first to contain Milk Fat Globule Membrane (MFGM) in the U.S.

MFGM is a naturally occurring bioactive membrane that surrounds the droplets in breast milk. It has been shown to support cognitive development similar to breast milk as measured by Bayley-III cognitive score at 12 months in a different formula with MFGM added as an ingredient. Enfamil NeuroPro also contains DHA and inositol.

The formula is available as 20.7oz tubs,  as 31.4oz refill boxes,  and as ready-to-use formula in 2 floz and 6floz bottles.
