The original Prefilled Pens will be replaced with the Humulin N and Humulin 70/30 KwikPens, which will carry a different National Drug Code (NDC) and will function differently. Patients may need initial instructions on how to use the device and Eli Lilly is encouraging distributors and pharmacies to carry both devices during the transition to meet patient needs.

Humulin N and Humulin 70/30 KwikPens will be available in 3.0mL disposable pens in 5-count boxes.
