Teva announced the launch of Desoximetasone Ointment, the generic version of Taro‘s Topicort Ointment.

Desoximetasone, a topical steroid, is indicated for the relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses. Topical corticosteroids share anti-inflammatory, anti-pruritic, and vasoconstrictive actions. They play a role in cellular signaling, immune function, inflammation and protein regulation. 

Desoximetasone Ointment is available as a 0.25% strength in 15g and 60g tubes.
