Teva Launches Generic Lexapro Tablets

Teva announced the launch of Escitalopram tablets USP, the generic version of Forest Laboratories‘ Lexapro (escitalopram oxalate).

Lexapro is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRIs) used for acute and maintenance treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD) and acute treatment of generalized anxiety disorder (GAD).

Escitalopram tablets are available from Teva in 5mg, 10mg, and 20mg dosage strengths.
