Lupin announced that it has received final approval from the FDA for Daysee (levonorgestrel and ethinyl estradiol) Tablets, the generic version of Teva’s Seasonique Tablets. Seasonique is an oral contraceptive indicated for use by women to prevent pregnancy.

Daysee is a combination of levonorgestrel and ethinyl estradiol 0.15mg/0.03mg and ethinyl estradiol 0.01mg. The tablets are available in an Extended-Cycle Wallet that contains a 13-week supply: 84 levonorgestrel and ethinyl estradiol tablets, and 7 ethinyl estradiol tablets.
