InnoPharma Launches Cidofovir Injection for CMV Retinitis

InnoPharma has announced the launch of Cidofovir Injection, the generic equivalent of Vistide (Gilead). Cidofovir injection is indicated for the treatment of cytomegalovirus (CMV) retinitis in patients with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS).

Cidofovir Injection is available in 5mL single-use vials. The product will be marketed in the U.S. by Mylan.
