Heritage Pharmaceuticals announced the return of Tetracycline HCl Capsules, the generic version of its former brand Achromycin V. Tetracycline HCl Capsules have been on the FDA drug shortage list for the past two years.

Tetracycline HCl is a tetracycline antibiotic indicated for tetracycline-sensitive infections, including respiratory, genitourinary, skin and soft tissue, and those caused by rickettsiae and Mycoplasma pneumoniae; also cholera, psittacosis, plague, shigellosis; and as adjunct treatment in severe acne.

Tetracycline HCl Capsules are available in 250mg and 500mg strengths.
