Glenmark has received final approval from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for Clotrimazole and Betamethasone Dipropionate Cream, the generic version of Merck’s Lotrisone Cream.

Lotrisone is a combination of clotrimazole, an azole antifungal, and betamethasone, a corticosteroid. It is indicated for the treatment of fungal skin infections including tinea cruris, tinea corporis and tinea pedis.

Clotrimazole and Betamethasone Dipropionate Cream will be available in a 1%/0.05% strength.
