ANI Launches Hydrocortisone Rectal Cream

ANI announced the launch of Hydrocortisone Cream for Rectal Use. 

Hydrocortisone Rectal Cream is a topical corticosteroid indicated for the relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses. Topical corticosteroids share anti-inflammatory, antipruritic and vasoconstrictive actions. The mechanism of anti-inflammatory activity of the topical corticosteroids is unclear. There is some evidence to suggest that a recognizable correlation exists between vasoconstrictor potency and therapeutic efficacy in humans.

Hydrocortisone Rectal Cream is available as a 1% strength in 1oz tubes and as a 2.5% strength in 30g tubes.
