Generic Paxil CR launched

Mylan has launched generic versions of GlaxoSmithKline’s Paxil CR (paroxetine hydrochloride controlled-release tablets) in 12.5mg and 25mg dosage strengths. Mylan has also received the right to market the 37.5mg strength.

Paxil CR tablets are indicated for the treatment of depression, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD).
