First Response Early Result Pregnancy Test approved for earlier testing

The FDA has cleared the First Response Early Result Pregnancy Test (from Church and Dwight) for use in determining pregnancy up to six days before the day of a woman’s missed period. First Response Early Result Pregnancy Test utilizes the Polymeric Amplification Technology to increase the sensitivity of the device to detect the pregnancy hormone, human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), at lower levels.
