Mead Johnson Nutrition has expanded their infant formula product line with the introduction of Enfamil Premium with Triple Health Guard and Nutramigen with Enflora LGG. Enfamil Premium with Triple Health Guard is a milk-based, iron-fortified infant formula that offers growth, brain and eye, and immune system development. This formula is indicated for healthy full-term infants and sick babies who do not have special nutritional needs.
Nutramigen with Enflora LGG is a hypoallergenic, iron-fortified, lactose-free, galactose-free, and sucrose-free infant formula. It is indicated for full-term infants who are allergic to the intact proteins in cow’s milk, soy formulas, and other foods. It is also appropriate for infants with galactosemia. Nutramigen with Enflora LGG is also indicated for long-term use as sole-source nutrition for infants up to 6 months of age and as a major source of nutrition for infants through 12 months of age. It contains extensively hydrolyzed protein to avoid an immune system response and the probiotic LGG to support healthy and normal GI tract function.
Both Enfamil Premium with Triple Health Guard and Nutramigen with Enflora LGG contain Lipil, the company’s blend of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and arachidonic acid (ARA).
