Duexis Now Available for Rheumatoid Arthritis and Osteoarthritis

Horizon Pharma announced that Duexis (ibuprofen/famotidine) tablets, a combination of a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug and a histamine H2-receptor antagonist, has been made available for the relief of signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis and to decrease the risk of developing upper gastrointestinal ulcers, defined as a gastric and/or duodenal ulcer, in patients who are taking ibuprofen for those indications.

Duexis is available as a single, immediate release tablet in 800mg/26.6mg dosage strength.
