ConvaTec launches Aquacel Ag Dressing

ConvaTec has launched AQUACEL Ag Dressing with Strengthening Fiber, an absorbent filler dressing with gelling benefits of Hydrofiber Technology and antimicrobial properties of ionic silver. The dressing uses Hydrofiber Technology to gel on contact with wound fluid to provide a moist wound healing environment, helps manage exudate, helps protect the periwound skin, and reduces pain in situ and on removal.

AQUACEL Ag Dressings can be used for packing a variety of cavity wounds, including post-surgical wounds, excised abscesses, pilonidal cysts, and stage III and IV pressure ulcers that have tunneling and undermining.
