Cimzia Starter Kit Now Available for Induction Dosing

UCB announced the introduction of Cimzia (certolizumab pegol) Starter Kit for induction dosing. Cimzia is a pegylated anti-TNF indicated for the treatment of adults with moderately to severely active rheumatoid arthritis. It is also indicated for moderately to severely active Crohn’s disease to reduce signs and symptoms and to maintain clinical response in adult patients with inadequate response to conventional therapy.

The Cimzia Starter Kit contains three doses of 400mg (2 x 200mg/mL prefilled syringes).  Also available, is the Cimzia Kit for maintenance dosing which contains two 200mg/mL prefilled syringes.
