Auvi-Q Auto-Injector Now Available

Sanofi announced that Auvi-Q (epinephrine injection) is now available. Auvi-Q is a compact epinephrine auto-injector with audio and visual cues for the emergency treatment of life-threatening allergic reactions in people who are at risk for or have a history of anaphylaxis.

Auvi-Q’s audio and visual cues include a five-second injection countdown and an alert light to signal injection completion. Auvi-Q also features an automatic retractable needle mechanism to help prevent accidental needle sticks.

Auvi-Q is available in 0.15mg and 0.3mg injection packs, each containing two devices—one epinephrine dose and one non-active training device.
