ATryn (antithrombin [recombinant], from GTC Biotherapeutics and Ovation Pharmaceuticals) has been made available by Lundbeck. ATryn, an anticoagulant, is indicated for the prevention of peri-operative and peri-partum thromboembolic events in hereditary antithrombin (AT) deficient patients.
