Alvesco now available for asthma treatment

Sepracor has launched Alvesco (ciclesonide) inhalation aerosol for the prophylactic and maintenance treatment of asthma in patients ≥12 years of age. Alvesco is a lung-activated corticosteroid prodrug available in dosage strengths of 80mcg/inh and 160mcg/inh.
