Indications for: ORPHENGESIC FORTE
Mild to moderate pain of acute musculoskeletal disorders.
½ –1 tab 3–4 times daily; max 4 tabs daily.
<12yrs: not recommended.
ORPHENGESIC FORTE Contraindications:
Glaucoma. Achalasia. GU or GI obstruction. Myasthenia gravis.
ORPHENGESIC FORTE Warnings/Precautions:
Reye's syndrome. Varicella or influenza. Peptic ulcer. Coagulation disorders. Monitor blood, urine and liver function during prolonged use. Pregnancy. Nursing mothers.
ORPHENGESIC FORTE Classification:
Anticholinergic + salicylate + methylxanthine.
ORPHENGESIC FORTE Interactions:
Anxiety, tremors and mental confusion with propoxyphene.
Tachycardia, palpitation, urinary hesitancy or retention, dry mouth, blurred vision, dilation of the pupil, increased intraocular tension, weakness, nausea, vomiting, headache, constipation, drowsiness, transient dizziness or syncope; rarely: urticaria, GI hemorrhage, other dermatosis.
