Cough and cold:
Indications for CORICIDIN HBP COUGH & COLD:
Cough, rhinorrhea.
Adult:
1 tab every 6 hours; max 4 tabs/day.
Children:
Individualize.
Contraindications:
Within 14 days of MAOIs.
Warnings/Precautions:
GI or GU obstruction. Glaucoma. Asthma. Lower respiratory disorders.
Pharmacologic Class:
Antihistamine + antitussive.
Interactions:
Hypertensive crisis with MAOIs. Alcohol, other CNS depressants potentiated.
Adverse Reactions:
Drowsiness, anticholinergic effects, excitability in children.
