Migraine and headache:
Indications for: AJOVY
Prophylaxis of migraine.
Adult Dosage:
Give by SC inj into abdomen, thigh, or upper arm. 225mg monthly or 675mg (given as 3 consecutive 225mg inj) every 3 months.
Children Dosage:
Not established.
AJOVY Warnings/Precautions:
Consider discontinuing if hypersensitivity reaction occurs. Pregnancy. Nursing mothers.
AJOVY Classification:
Calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) receptor antagonist.
Adverse Reactions:
Inj site reactions (eg, pain, induration, erythema); hypersensitivity reactions.
