NSAID allergy. Varicella or influenza in teenagers. Severe bleeding or coagulation disorders. Peptic ulcer. 3rd trimester pregnancy.

Precautions for SYNALGOS-DC

Asthma. Head injury. Increased intracranial pressure. Acute abdomen. Impaired renal, hepatic, thyroid, or adrenocortical function. GI or GU obstruction. Peptic ulcer. Bleeding disorders. Gastritis. Monitor blood pressure, BUN, uric acid levels. Drug abusers. Elderly. Debilitated. Pregnancy. Nursing mothers.

Interactions for SYNALGOS-DC

Potentiation with alcohol, CNS depressants, anticoagulants, hypoglycemics, plasma protein bound drugs, MAOIs, tricyclic antidepressants, anticholinergics. Alcohol, NSAIDs, corticosteroids increase risk of GI bleeding. May antagonize uricosurics.

Adverse Reactions for SYNALGOS-DC

Abuse potential, dizziness, sedation, allergic reactions, nausea, vomiting, gastric upset, constipation, urinary retention, prolonged bleeding time, respiratory depression, salicylism (overdosage).
