Vicks DayQuil Cold & Flu LiquiCaps recalled due to non-child-resistant packagingProcter & Gamble has announced a voluntary recall of its Vicks DayQuil Cold & Flu (acetaminophen, dextromethorphan HBr, phenylephrine) 24-count LiquiCaps Bonus Pack because the product does not contain a child-resistant backing for the blister packs in the box, despite label statements that it is in child-resistant packaging. No other Vick's product is included in this recall.
Consumers who purchased this product with the expectation that it would be in child-resistant packaging should stop using it immediately and keep the product out of the reach of children. Adult consumers can continue to use the product as directed.
